Our history
Since 1992, COMTEL Group has been at the heart of ICT systems integration, building more than three decades of experience in connecting people, technologies and information through reliable, secure and future-ready solutions.
In July 2025, COMTEL Group completed the acquisition of NEC Corporation’s Unified Communications business in EMEA. The transaction included the established customer base, specialist technology expertise and support capabilities, together with exclusive rights relating to NEC’s advanced UC technology, then known as UNIVERGE 3C. The acquired operations now form COMTEL International B.V., a dedicated international business headquartered in Hilversum, the Netherlands.
This combination of long-standing COMTEL experience and NEC UC knowledge places us in a unique position to protect existing customer investments while creating a clear path towards the future. Our skilled engineers, strong partner ecosystem and international support capabilities ensure continuity, stability and high-quality service across regions.
